My friend texted me the other night and asked for this granola recipe. I happily obliged. I love this recipe! Before the summer hit we had a granola bar party with some of this homemade granola. It was a big hit! We served it with yogurt, fruit of all kinds, and chocolate sauce. I wasn’t able to have any at that time, but now that I am off my 12 week program I have a bowl of this yummy granola at least once a week if not more!

Oh…. the smell it produces in your house! When you let it sit in the oven to harden, the smell takes over your house. It smells absolutely amazing! I usually make the batch { which is huge} at night and let it sit over night in the oven… and then I can’t sleep because I’m dreaming of it all night. This makes a lot, but just store it away. You will be surprised at how fast it goes!

I think this homemade recipe is a great one because of its flavor and it doesn’t get mushy when you add it to milk. It stays crunchy! I love coconut too! Just imagine yourself digging into a bowl jammed packed with this and raspberries, blueberries, fresh mango’s, whatever fruit your heart desires at the time. It is sweet and crunchy in every bite!granola

I made my girls eat this for the first time the other day and they actually liked it! I know you can buy yogurts with the granola on top, but I have never done that for my family. People swear by them… me I swear by this recipe!

I am loving anything homemade these days.. as I know exactly what is put into. Nothing more is needed then a spoon, some cinnamon, and maybe a touch bit of honey or syrup.
